First leg of the Southwest PGA Junior Prep Tour played at Talking Stick. Great course, but very long - 6,500 yards. They had him paired with two 16 year olds and a 17 year old because no one else was in his 13-14 boys division, which gave him the gold medal by default - LOL. Shot a 105 but had some phenomenal bunker shots and drives.

Monday July 26, 2021: Castle Rock, CO

The boy and I had an absolute blast with Cliff and his buddy Normy. Normy looks very much like Jim Furyk. I LOVED this course - lots of elevation changes in a gorgeous setting. The kid shot an 81 and notched his 10th birdie of the year when he drove the green on the short par four 9th hole and two putted from the first cut. His reward was a ride in Uncle Cliff's Ferrari back to his place where we hung out for a couple of hours before our flight home.

The kid won his 3rd school tournament at Shalimar by 6 strokes. He was +5 on nine holes and was pretty consistent.

Sunday March 19, 2023 - X3 Tournament

Well the boy played a decent round but had one big miss - the fifth hole. It made no sense. Total duff on the 130 yard par 3. Hozel shot that went 80 yards left. He hasn't done that in a long time. Second shot went of the back of the green. Third shot was a lob wedge that he chunked. Two putts from there for a nast double. He was +1 on the other eight holes though, good enough for second place.
