Dropped the boy off at Whirlwind for the first time ever at 8:30am and he was there until 3:30pm. We had a late lunch and he very much enjoyed the near perfect conditions.
The boy and I had an absolute blast with Cliff and his buddy Normy. Normy looks very much like Jim Furyk. I LOVED this course - lots of elevation changes in a gorgeous setting. The kid shot an 81 and notched his 10th birdie of the year when he drove the green on the short par four 9th hole and two putted from the first cut. His reward was a ride in Uncle Cliff's Ferrari back to his place where we hung out for a couple of hours before our flight home.
