Hard to put into words how awesome this day was. Team USA was down by three points but stormed back in the morning foursomes (3-1) to bring it to a single point. The afternoon singles were a rout as USA took 7 of 10 points to secure the victory. Nick Dunlap was down 3 with 4 to play but stepped it up and was able to halve the match. Unreal.
Well after a completely revamped practice schedule, the kid put together his most complete round ever in tournament play and shot a 75 at Leisure World.
Mixed emotions after this round. To date it's his third tournament score in the 70's but although he shot a 6-over 78, he had three double bogeys along the way. The card shows four birdies but #3 is a par 4 that they changed to a par 5 since all US Kids tournaments have to be par 72 courses.
