500 Club Futures Course Great resiliency today as the boy had a nasty double bogey on #2 but followed it up with a birdie on #3 and went even par the rest of the way for a +2 on the day.   This gives him a 42 point lead in the overall standings with two events to go.

Absolutely awesome day today golfing with Josh and Kipp.   Josh is an incredible player and gave Trevor an Alabama backpack filled with a Bama towel, an official Alabama golf hat, and a half dozen Pro V1's.   Knucklehead notched two birdies and nine pars on the round and Team Josh/Trevor beat Team Kipp/Hugh 4&3.  

 Rolling Hills Golf Course, Tempe, AZ This is a difficult course with tabletop greens but the boy fired a +3, birdying #9 to force a playoff.   He won in an extra playoff hole which was just a putt-off on the practice green.

 Royal Palms Golf Course, Mesa, AZ Amazing Day!  Just got back from Alabama the night before and the boy goes out and starts the round -3 after 4 holes including an ace on #4 from 96 yard out using a gap wedge.   He finished up -1 on the round to win by 4 strokes.

 Opelika, AL Drove from Greenville to Opelika, just east of Auburn to play Grand National.   Stunning property with lots of water.   

 Greenville, AL Drove from Tuscaloosa back to Birmingham last night and then drove to Greenville to play Cambrian Ridge.   Cameron drove up from the Florida panhandle to meet us.   It was a fantastic day.

 Tuscaloosa, AL Drove from Gadsden to Birmingham for a lesson at Highland Park Golf Club but I screwed up the dates - it was supposed to be for Wednesday.   Drove to Tuscaloosa and hung out at The University of Alabama, including a practice session at the Jerry Pate Golf Center which is a few miles off campus.

 Robert Trent Jones - Silver Lakes   Gadsden, AL Drove directly from Atlanta after spending weekend with Bret and Allison.   Beautiful course that was close to empty when we played on a perfect day.

 Atlanta, Georgia Hooked up with Bret and Allison on Saturday night and then we golfed with Bret at Bobby Jones Golf Course just north of them.   So cool to kick off the trip like this.
