 Went to Munds Park and played 18 at Elephant Rocks on Friday, Oakcreek on Saturday, and Canyon Mesa on Sunday.   The kid fired an 81 the first day to beat me by 3, then I beat him by 3 on Saturday (in heavy wind) and then he crushed me at that shitty Canyon Mesa course.

 So in his first Southwest PGA Firebirds Tournament, the kid goes out and goes +2 to win it all.   Despite 2/9 GIR, the short game was amazing with two sand saves and excellent chipping.   

 I picked up Trevor's new PING clubs yesterday and surprised him at Raven in the morning for our usual 2-3 hour practice.   We went to Royal Palms where he shot even par over 9 holes for the first time in his life.   He hooked up with a couple really cool guys after 2 holes and had a blast.   They were very impressed with the young man...  Was a coaches pick to play in the last PING Interclub Tournament of the Year at Longbow.   It was extremely windy and despite lots of practice on the range, the tee shots were just not finding the fairways today.   Excellent fairway woods helped prevent the score from getting out of control.   Finished with a 97 but walked in a 35 foot putt for par on the 18th to finish Kevin Na style. *This picture is from our practice round on Thursday
